Its low density aids in maintaining the desired STC rating of wall systems to irregular surfaces, which allows it to function as an effective seal against light and dust infiltration. V730 is compatible as a gasket to panel material and its low thermal conductivity improves energy efficiency of the structure by reducing heated or cooled air loss around wall perimeters.
